J’ai McCorkle is the Executive Assistant at the NAACP Hollywood Bureau. Joining the Association at a time of an unprecedented commitment to change in our country, J’ai is passionate about increasing diverse representation and positive portrayals across traditional media outlets and the emerging new media platforms.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, J’ai comes to the NAACP with a solid background in entertainment including music, film, and television. Over her 20+ year career, she has worked at Universal Music Group, Disney, ESPN, NFL and other major Fortune 500 companies as an integral member in sales, marketing, promotion or legal departments. In her various capacities, she has worked across multiple businesses and divisions allowing her to gain valuable insight that has allowed her to take on numerous responsibilities from live event production, product placement, and any mission that needs to get done.
