LOS ANGELES, CA (February 26, 2026) – Tonight, the NAACP continued the celebration of Black excellence and achievement with the “57th NAACP Image Awards” Creative Honors. The NAACP celebrated 25 categories across film, television, documentaries, and acting, recognizing the voices and talents that shape culture. The evening was hosted by Kevin “KevOnStage” Fredericks and Angel Laketa Moore.
The night featured a soul-stirring tribute honoring the life and legacy of both Angie Stone and D’Angelo, performed by Jane Handcock and BJ The Chicago Kid, followed by a moving performance from Mali Music.
In being honored with the Mildred Bond Roxborough Social Justice Impact Award, Rev.
